The transition of the French model from 1700 to 1830

We will look at the development of the French model through the eyes of various makers and instruments.

Luthiers in the early 18th century drew their inspiration from the Amati and then the Stainer, before discovering the Stradivarius model in the middle of the century, which was to become the reference from Paris to Mirecourt.
